A Corner of the Universe by Anne Martin is a story about a girl named Hattie whose life is changed when her uncle Adam that she never even knew about comes to town. Her family and the boarding house she lives in will soon have to adapt to the new relative because of his illness. As Hattie and Adam build a relationship with each other, she will also learn to grow up and be more self-confident in herself. I enjoyed A Corner of the Universe because of its characters that are in the book, its setting, language, and how it relates to my own brother who also has a very serious illness.

The other band members fumed in jealousy, yearning to be in the limelight. The band reached its finale, with bright flames erupting behind them, and fans frenzying below in the heat of the moment.
As the band left the stage in triumphant glee, the announcer publicized their names.
That was The Guns of August, with Matt Donalds as the bassist, Aaron Bruce on the drums, Richard Micheals as the backup guitarist, and last, but certainly not least,
